PRICING GUIDE FOR MURALS AND THREE DIMENSIONAL COMMISSION PIECES

MURALS:
Rates begin at $60.00 per square foot. Simple subject matter may be less, complex or elaborate subjects may be higher than the beginning rate. Higher rates apply on short schedule works or "rush" jobs.

HOURLY RATES:
$50.00 per hour
(Breakdown: $200/half day $400/full day $2000/full week)
This rate applies to:
Sculpting, scale model and diorama construction. Amendments to, alterations or modification of finished murals. Restoration, modification or other work on sculptures or other three dimensional subjects.

A BRIEF NOTE ON SERVICES AND ESTIMATES:
Because of the unique nature of these diverse and specialized services, as well as the often special circumstances and materials which individual projects require for execution and completion, the prices listed above are a baseline starting point. The following must be considered when estimating prices:

• Subject matter complexity .
• Overall size -
• Time frame .Overhead painting (i.e. Ceiling murals)
• Specialized materials: paints(interior/exterior paint requirements) and/or need of outside services( carpentry , armature construction, UV resistant coating application, framing and/or display case costs, etc.)

Client covers costs of primary materials such as:

• primers
• base colors .
• clear protective overcoats
• 3-D project material used in mold-making and casting, bases, display cases, lighting, etc.
